  • Minnesota Home Energy Rebates Program Design

    Client: Minnesota Commence Department

    In a capacity of panning advisor, Inova is assisting the Minnesota Commerce Department with strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, implementation procurement management, and program design services related to two programs funded by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022: the Home Efficiency Rebates (50121) and the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (50122) programs. Collectively, these two programs will deliver approximately $140 million in clean energy rebate funds to Minnesotans through 2031.

  • Wisconsin Solar for All Planning and Stakeholder Engagement

    Client: Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation

    Our team supports Wisconsin in its planning of the Solar for All program, that received a $62M award through EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. Inova is facilitating an Advisory Committee comprised of Subject Matter Experts, assisting in the development of an administration RFP, and finalizing strategies and tactics that enhance the state’s workplan and to support program launch in 2025.

  • NJ Comfort Partners Program Support

    Client: PSEG and NJ Utilities

    Inova managed project activities for the implementation of a new data-tracking system to support statewide and cross-utility sharing of information for the NJ Comfort Partners Program, a long-established program supporting income-eligible residential participants. Inova coordinated this complex project in which eight utilities and six vendor partners were involved, to ensure timely delivery of the SaaS product and a smooth transition for system users.

  • Avangrid Change Management

    Client: Avangrid

    Inova serves as client advisor and change management office for a project involving the development of a new data tracking system for all Avangrid utilities covering the states of CT, NY, and MA and impacting all sectors of energy programs.

  • Illinois Stakeholder Advisory Group Support

    Client: Illinois SAG

    Inova supports the planning and meeting facilitation efforts for an advisory body, composed of over thirty interested parties, that seeks consensus resolution on energy efficiency policy and technical issues, as needed. SAG provides an opportunity to educate the Illinois stakeholder community on a variety of topics related to energy efficiency.

  • Iowa Energy Plan

    Client: Iowa Economic Development Authority and Iowa Department of Transportation

    Inova assisted the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the Iowa Department of Transportation in the development of a strategy 10-year energy plan through an examination of existing policies and programs, an analysis of existing conditions, and identification of emerging challenges and opportunities. Inova also led a comprehensive stakeholder engagement process through a series of energy forums, public platform, and working group discussions.

  • Capturing Cultural Diversity In California Residential Energy Use And Conservation: an Energy Ethnography Of Hispanic Households

    Client: California Energy Commission

    Inova Energy Group conducted research to understand the social, cultural, and behavioral aspects that affect Hispanics’ decisions to purchase energy efficient technologies and the behaviors associated with operating technologies once installed. The project was designed to develop an energy ethnography of Hispanic households and to provide recommendations for program design and engagement.

  • Missouri Comprehensive State Energy Plan

    Client: Missouri Department of Economic Development

    Inova developed Missouri’s first Comprehensive Energy Plan which was released in October 2015. The Plan charts a course toward a sustainable and prosperous energy future to create jobs and improve the quality of life for Missourians. In developing the plan Inova assessed current and future energy supply and demand, analyzed environmental and public health effects, and assessed economic opportunities. Inova also coordinated a series of public meetings that engaged over 300 key stakeholders.
